How K.Y.P. handles personal information under Canada’s PIPEDA. Last updated 2026.

1. Data minimisation

We collect only what is needed to operate a listing and confirm credentials: account email, the information an owner chooses to publish, and references used during verification. We do not keep raw identity documents on public servers.

2. What is public vs. private

Information shown on a published profile is public by the owner’s choice. Account details, billing references, and internal review notes are private and not displayed.

3. Consent and control

Listings are published with consent. Owners may view, correct, export, or delete their information at any time from their account, consistent with PIPEDA access and correction rights.

4. Data residency and security

Data is stored on Canadian-resident infrastructure. Sensitive verification documents are handled through PIPEDA-compliant processing and retained only as long as needed for the verification purpose.

5. Payments

Card payments are handled by a third-party processor. K.Y.P. does not store full card numbers.
